Stock up on snacks and hit the road with these fabulous Noosa country drives that are all within 60 minutes.

Eumundi

Located a short drive, approximately 20-30 minutes, from Noosa is the charming rural town of Eumundi. Famous for it’s twice weekly market and it’s charming village atmosphere with a cool assortment of galleries, boutiques, pubs, cafes and artisans.

Don’t miss: The Original Eumundi Markets, held each Wednesday (8am to 2pm) and Saturday (7pm to 2pm), is well regarded as the biggest and best artisan markets in Australia.

Cooroy

Approximately 25-35 minutes drive form Noosa is the former timber town of Cooroy.  Cooroy offers visitors a mix of history, nature and arts. There’s plenty to do and see including charming cafes, restaurants, farm gates, a boutique brewery, distillery, golf course, art galleries, antiques, boutiques and more.

Don’t miss:  Cooroy Butter Factory Arts Centre, and for families be sure to check out the Hinterland Adventure Playground complete with sensory garden, inclusive flying fox, waterplay area and much more!

Pomona

Take a 35-45 minute road trip to the country village of Pomona where you’ll be rewarded with great cafes, art galleries, a museum, a country hotel, distillery and a weekly country market. If you like to hike, bike or horse ride, Pomona is also a good access point for the Noosa Trail Network.

Don’t miss:
  Noosa Shire Museum and the historic Majestic Theatre; the oldest continuously running silent movie cinema in the world!

Cooran

This pretty hinterland village will take 35-45 minute to reach and is surrounded by lush valley, walking tracks and swimming holes. You can walk or ride along the Noosa Trail Network or check out the quirky collection of eateries, farms, producers and artisans, as well as the Noosa Hinterland Brewing Co.

Don’t miss:  James McKane Memorial Lookout (Cooran Tablelands Lookout).

Kin Kin

Kin Kin, just 45-60 minutes drive from Noosa, oozes with country town charm and offers cool gift shops, local artists, cafes, world-class restaurants, hobby farms and more. Those looking for adventure can hike, bike or horse ride on the Noosa Trail Network.
