Not many people are aware that Noosa is home to one of only two everglades systems on earth! Noosa Everglades, also known as the ‘river of mirrors’, contains 40% of Australia’s bird species and can be explored by cruise or canoe.

Spend a few hours browsing the local markets for unique gifts, locally made products and delicious eats. Noosa Farmers Markets trades every Sunday from 6am to noon, Noosa Marina Markets are also every Sunday from 8am to 1:30pm and the famous Eumundi Markets are held each Wednesday from 8am to 2pm and Saturday from 7am to 2pm – find out more about these markets here.
Time out by the river
Spend some time unwinding by the beautiful Noosa River, which is particularly beautiful at sunset. Pack a picnic or grab some fish and chips to enjoy on the banks of the river as the sun goes down.
